Aloo Palak


  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1no fine chopped onion
  • 1 potatoes boiled
  • 2 tomato grated
  • 1 green chilies
  • 1 no red chili whole
  • ½ tsp ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 no lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • pinch. cinnamon-clove powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garam masala
  • 4 tbsp. oil
  • salt to taste

  1. Washed spinach in a pan for two three times properly

  2. Boiled the water with pinch of salt, add spinach into the water cook for three minute. Cool quickly, or hold under running cold water in a colander Blanch spinach and green chili grind and make coarsely paste and Keep aside.
  3.  Cut the potatoes into big pieces. 
  4. Heat oil in pan. Add red chili whole sauté for half a minute. Add onions and sauté till translucent ,Add ginger and garlic paste and continue to sauté for two to three minutes, stirring continuously. Add grated  tomato and add all spices  Mix it  well, Cook till oil separates from the masala.

  5. Add spinach and potatoes mix well .cook for 2 minute  Add lemon juice.
  6. Served hot garnish with red chili whole, butter, cream.
