Kashmiri  Rice 


  • 2 Cup Basmati Rice
  • 2 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 No Green Chili Slant Cut
  • 2 no onion slice
  • 2Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon -Inch Piece
  • 3 Green Cardamom
  • 2 Black Cardamom
  • Fennel seeds
  • 1Bay Leaf
  • 1 Star Anise
  • 8 -10 Cashews nut
  • 8 – 10 Almonds
  • 8-10 Raisin
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 4 Cup Water
  • Saffron Few



  1. Wash And Soak Rice In Water For 20 Minutes. Drain And Keep It Aside.

  2. Heat The Oil In A Pot  Add Cloves, Cinnamon , Star Anise, Bay- Leaf, and fennel seeds  Sauté For A Few Second  And Then Add Cumin Seeds And Green Chili  When The Seeds Is Splutters. 
  3. Add onion slice  Cashew Nut , Almond, And Raisin Sauté For  Min.   Add The Rice And Sauté For Four To Five Minutes. Add The Water And Saffron  And Salt Cover With A Lid And Cook Till The Rice Is Done.
  4. Served Hot garnish almonds and cashew nut
