Bechamel Sauce


  • 2 tbsp Butter unsalted 
  • 1-1/2 tbsp all purpose flour 
  • 1 lit Milk
  • 1-onion
  • 4-5 clove whole
  • 1-2 Bay leaf
  •  3-4 tbsp Cheese (mozzarella grated) optional
  • Salt and white pepper powder to taste
  • Black pepper powder
  • Pinch  Nut-Mug    


  1. Take sauce pot add butter on the slow flam until melt then add flour stirring continuously. Saute till it and turn into little darker in colour  
  2. Add milk stir continuously avoid lumps in milk use whisk (you can use the hand blender)
  3. Fix the 4-5 whole clove into the whole onion and bay leaf   add into the milk then Bring it to boil,
  4. Remove the onion and clove after boiling Then strain reheat again 
  5. add cheese, salt, pepper powder and herbs to taste.
  6. Adjust the consistency of sauce by using hot water
