  • 1 Cup Urad Wash Dal
  • 3 To 4 Peppercorns
  • 10 To 12 Curry Leaves
  • 1tsp Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • 2 Green Chilies Chopped
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Chopped
  • Salt To Taste
  • Oil For Deep  Frying



  1. Wash And Soak The Urad Dal In Enough Water For At Least 3 Hours.

  2. Drain, And Blend In A Mixer And Make It Smooth Batter Adding Little Water Add The Salt Add The Green Chilies, Pepper, Curry Leaves And Ginger And Mix Well And Keep It Aside For 3- 4 Hour
  3. Heat Oil In A Kadhai,

  4. Wet Your Hand Make A Ball Of Batter With Help Of Your Fingers .

  5. Make A Hole In The Centre Of Ball With Your Thumb Turn Your Hand And Drop The Wada In The Kadai.

  6.  Deep Fry The Wada Till Both Sides Turn Into Golden Brown.
  7. Take Out Extra Oil Using Absorbent Paper

  8. Serve Hot With Sambhar And Coconut Chutney
