Fish Biryani


For Marination

  • 1 kg Fish (Surmai)  (Cut Into small Pieces)
  • 1 No Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tsp Ginger And Garlic Paste
  • ½ Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Cup Hung Curd
  • 1tbsp Mustard Oil

For Gravy

  • 2 Basmari rice (Cooked )
  • 3 no  Onion slice
  • 1 Tsp Ginger And Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 Tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 Tsp Chili Powder To Taste
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

Other Ingredients

  • 1tbsp Coriander Chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Chopped Mint
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Julienne's
  • 1 No Lemon Juice
  • 1tbsp Kewra
  • Pinch Cardamom
  • Pinch Clove Powder
  • Pinch Cinnamon Powder
  • ½ Gm Saffron.
  • Oil 3 Tbsp 


  1. Marinated (Mix) The Fish piece In A Bowl, With Ginger And Garlic Paste Lemon Juice And Curd Little Mustard Oil.   
  2. Heat Oil In A Pan Add Onions slice. Fry The Onions Till Golden Then Add The Ginger Garlic Paste.
  3. add marinated fish and dry spicy on slow flam Fry Well In The Mixture Till Oil Separates.
  4. Add Saffron (little Water) Add cooked Rice Chopped  Mint, Coriander, Ginger Julienne, Kewra, Pinch Cardamom Powder, Pinch Clove Powder, Pinch Cinnamon Powder.
  5. cooked rice for 5 to 7 minute.
  6. Serve Hot
